The Victory Ride!
Gene celebrated the successful end of the 2007 campaign with 24 riders registered to cycle his 25 mile round trip ride from Northport to Syosset and back again with him on January 1st, 2008.
Bad weather shrank the pelleton, but eight hardy souls accompanied him and we raised another $900!
Now Connor's Army is proud to announce that The Victory Ride has become an annual event. So make plans now to join Gene in 2009.
"I figure if the Polar Bear Club can swim on every New Year's Day," says Gene, "we can cycle. Especially for such a good cause!"

Ride in hope of winning the war against cancer!
The day will start at 10am (in deference to New Year's Eve the night before) from the parking lot of Saint Philip Neri Church at 344 Main Street in Northport.
You'll cycle Gene's route to school, where you'll have a break for some hot drinks with your fellow cyclers in Syosset before heading back to Northport for an all out party!
Just pay the $25 registration fee, which is actually a donation directly to the American Cancer Society, and let us know your t-shirt size (sorry, only those participating in the Northport ride will get a t-shirt). Then start training!

Set up a Victory Ride in your area.
All you need is a 25 mile course and any number of hardy souls to cycle it. You can do it by yourself or be joined by hundreds! Just be sure to have everyone log onto the Victory Ride registration page to make their donation and join the celebration!
OR
You don't even have to cycle at all.
You can join the Victory Ride in spirit by submitting your registration donation and letting us know that you won't actually be there.
All funds raised through the registration fee go directly to the American Cancer Society to help in its mission to eliminate cancer and to support people with cancer in their lives.
